For the past two decades, Rabbi Dovid and Devorah Pinson and their five children have served the Jewish community of Edmonton, Alberta, with devotion and sacrifice. With their passion for Jewish education, their creativity, and their love for Jews and Judaism, they now bring their vast experience to a new frontier: the Canadian Rockies.
Under the direction of Rabbi Menachem and Rebbetzin Rochel Matusof, directors of Chabad-Lubavitch of Alberta, Rabbi Dovid, and Devorah Pinson will establish Chabad of the Canadian Rockies.
With your support, Chabad of the Canadian Rockies will be a home for the Jewish Rockies residents and the tens of thousands of Jews who visit Canada’s most visited national park, providing kosher food, Shabbat meals, Holiday services, activities, and all Jewish resources needed to make Judaism thrive in the Rockies.
Chabad will be based in the Banff/Canmore area and will engage the Jewish populations in the more remote, outlying regions as well, through periodic visits and coordination of Chabad’s Roving Rabbis program.
